Remember that we need a steady flow of meaningful messages sent out on Me Engage. This does not mean high volume with little content which can put residents off the app.  Messaging need to be evenly passed and relevant to your residents/partners.

Also, please ensure that your PCSO’s are actively driving Met Engage registration. All engagements must be used as opportunities for residents to join up and you should be monitoring levels of Met Engage registrations from your teams. 

“As we move into the festive season your local Safer Neighbourhoods Teams will continue to work hard to prevent crime and antisocial behaviour to keep Hounslow safe. 

During this time of year we will see more people shopping and celebrating within our Town Centres, and the dark winter evenings mean we need to all remember to secure our property including homes, vehicles or personal belongings. We have a lot of useful crime prevention advice which you can find here.

Please report any suspicious activity through 101 or using 999 in an emergency. 

Hounslow police do not stop work over Christmas, but will be tackling crime, keeping residents and business safe, and being present for all of our communities across Hounslow.
